Programme Overview
The National Diploma Nursing programme at Eagles College of Nursing Science (ECONS) is a two-year, NBTE and NMCN-accredited programme that lays a solid foundation for a career in nursing. Students gain a thorough grounding in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and the core principles of nursing practice.
Clinical training is central to the programme. Students rotate through hospital wards, community health centres, and simulated clinical labs, building competence in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and basic life support.
Graduates are eligible for enrolment with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as Enrolled Nurses and may progress to the HND Nursing programme upon achieving Lower Credit standing.
